NTA Accreditation for Tutoring, Mentoring, and Coaching Programs
The program is required to retain an NTA Certified Trainer on staff to conduct all tutor, mentor, and/or academic coach trainings.
Programs are required to use NTA workbooks or Webinars as the training curriculum.
All tutors, mentors, and/or academic coaches must be trained to a minimum Basic Level Certification.
The program must maintain current Program Level Membership in the NTA.
The program administrator will complete an administrative self-analysis.
The program administrator will complete an evaluative self-analysis.
The accreditation application portfolio will contain copies of all forms, flyers and other communications used by the program to recruit students and tutors/coaches to the program.
The accreditation application portfolio will contain copies of all forms, flyers and other communications used by the program to administer the daily activities and evaluation of the program.
The accreditation application portfolio will be accompanied by the accreditation fee. Should the NTA be unable to accredit the program, the fee will be returned minus a $25.00 service charge.
