National Tutoring Foundation

Our Mission

The National Tutoring Foundation (NTF) is an extension of the National Tutoring Association (NTA). As such, our mission is to extend the NTA’s outreach beyond its traditional membership by working alongside large commercial student success entities, legislative bodies, and elected officials to benefit tutors, academic coaches, mentors, and all students. Our goal is two-fold: 1.) to assist in the creation and the support of legislation that provides for individual learners to receive successful and effective educational opportunities; 2.) to provide training and professional development opportunities with regard to tutoring, academic coaching, and mentoring for large scale corporate student success entities, legislative bodies, and elected officials.

Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School

The NTF is proud to stand with the students, teachers, and families of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School and the community of Parkland, FL. We support the students who proclaim "We are going to be the last mass shooting."  The NTF will work with other like-minded associations and individuals to put common sense gun legislature in place so that these horrible events no longer destroy the peace and safety of our schools and workplaces. The time has come for all of the children to lead us.
