2021 National Tutoring Week Celebration October 4-8, 2021
The NTA launched National Tutoring Week over a decade ago. It is celebrated at colleges, universities, and private tutoring centers across the country.
Tips for celebrating National Tutoring Week.
Why not plan a special tutor recognition and appreciation ceremony? Invite school administrators to visit your tutorial center. Host a table with information and "goodies" in a well trafficked area of your campus. Lobby locally or statewide for official proclamations. You can supply your tutors with mini "survival kits" including snacks, school mugs and logo items, and motivational quotes. Decorate your center with colorful flowers, balloons or photos of your tutors in action. Place an ad or article in the campus newspaper. Post messages to staff and ask them to send Thank You notes to the center and/or your tutors. Have a party!

University of New Hampshire at Manchester Celebrates National Tutoring Week!
This year, we held a taco-Tuesday themed tutor appreciation lunch to thank our tutors for everything that they do throughout the year, as well as hosting two days of outreach (via an inviting table in our campus lobby) where we spent time talking to students about the tutoring services we offer, and recruiting for new tutors (with apple cider and donuts of course). Aside from these on-campus events, we also organized a school supply drive for a local, underfunded elementary school, where we enjoyed dropping the supplies off to a group of students on Friday. Our campus cafe was also in the National Tutor Week spirit and named their weekly-special sandwich after our hardworking tutors!
Thanks for facilitating National Tutor Week, our campus has never participated in events during this week before, and we had a lot of fun celebrating!

Wesleyan College Celebrates National Tutoring Week!
I have to admit, this was such an exciting week on campus. This was the very first time we celebrated Tutor Appreciation Week and it was truly a big hit.
