National Tutoring Week
Oct 1 - 5, 2012
The NTA launched National Tutoring Week ten years ago. It is celebrated at universities and private tutoring centers across the country.
Tips for celebrating National Tutoring Week.
Why not plan a special tutor recognition and appreciation ceremony? Invite school administrators to visit your tutorial center. Host a table with information and "goodies" in a well trafficked area of your campus. Lobby locally or statewide for official proclamations. You can supply your tutors with mini "survival kits" including snacks, school mugs and logo items, and motivational quotes. Decorate your center with colorful flowers, balloons or photos of your tutors in action. Place an ad or article in the campus newspaper. Post messages to staff and ask them to send Thank You notes to the center and/or your tutors. Have a party!
Here are some photos from across the country celebrating previous years.
