LEVEL II- Basic
- Bachelor's degree earned or currently enrolled with a minimum of 60 hours completed.
- 100 hours tutorial experience.
- Presented an informational session at a minimum of one tutorial or educational conference (may be local, regional, or national).
- NTA membership in good standing.
- In addition to completion of all modules or the comprehensive program of the NTA developed and approved “Tutoring Foundations” course provided by Crossroads of Learning, or competency proven through knowledge and skills testing, a minimum of 25 hours of structured tutor training via workshops and conferences with an NTA certified tutor trainer or supervisor.
- Supporting documentation as indicated on the certification application and checklist.
LEVEL II- Advanced (Para-Trainer)
- Bachelor's degree earned or currently enrolled with a minimum of 60 hours completed.
- 125 hours tutorial experience.
- Assisted with a minimum of three tutor trainings on local campus.
- Presented an informational session at a minimum of one tutorial or educational conference (may be local, regional, or national).
- NTA membership in good standing.
- In addition to completion of all modules or the comprehensive program of the NTA developed and approved “Tutoring Foundations” course provided by Crossroads of Learning, or competency proven through knowledge and skills testing, a minimum of 25 hours of structured tutor training via workshops and conferences with an NTA certified tutor trainer or supervisor.
