BASIC LEVEL CERTIFICATION

1. Minimum of 15 hours tutorial experience.
2. NTA membership in good standing.
3. Competency proven through one of the following:
   a) A minimum of 10 hours of structured tutor training via workshops and conferences with an NTA certified tutor trainer or supervisor, or
   b) Completion of the Basic module of the NTA developed and approved “Tutoring Foundations” course delivered online by Crossroads of Learning with NTA certified trainers.
   c) Completion of the NTA developed and approved Tutoring Foundations Basic Curriculum delivered by NTA certified trainers using the Tutoring Foundations consumable workbook
d) Knowledge and skills testing. Available online, for more information.
4. Supporting documentation as indicated on the certification application and checklist.
   

INTERMEDIATE LEVEL CERTIFICATION

1. Minimum of 35 hours tutorial experience
2. NTA membership in good standing
3. Competency proven through one of the following:
   a) Completion of the Basic and Intermediate modules of the NTA developed and approved “Tutoring Foundations” course provided by Crossroads of Learning
   b) Knowledge and skills testing. Available on-line, more info
c) Completion of the NTA developed and approved Tutoring Foundations Basic Curriculum delivered by NTA certified trainers using the Tutoring Foundations consumable workbook    d)Knowledge and skills testing. Available on-line, more info

ADVANCED LEVEL CERTIFICATION

1. A Minimum of 50 hours of tutorial experience
2. NTA Membership in good standing
3. Competency proven through one of the following:
   a) Completion of the Basic, Intermediate and Advanced modules of the NTA developed and approved “Tutoring Foundations” course provided by Crossroads of Learning
   b) Knowledge and skills testing. Available on-line, more info
   c) Completion of the NTA developed and approved Tutoring Foundations Basic Curriculum delivered by NTA certified trainers using the Tutoring Foundations consumable workbook    d)Knowledge and skills testing. Available on-line, more info

MASTER LEVEL CERTIFICATION

1. A Minimum of 100 hours of tutorial experience
2. NTA Membership in good standing
3. Competency proven through one of the following:
   a) Completion of the Comprehensive Course of the NTA developed and approved “Tutoring Foundations” course provided by Crossroads of Learning
b) A minimum of 30 hours of structured Basic, Intermediate and Advanced tutor training via workshops and conferences with an NTA certified tutor trainer using NTA approved Tutoring Foundations consumable workbooks.
